Musanze: Person injured by Buffle when he was in his potatoes field

The problem of animals out of cause human death this 23 March 2025.  It was early in the morning when a man was in his potatoes field near volcanoes national park Nyarusizi village Kinigi sector Musanze District.  A buffle out of park hit him and injured. The victim is in Ruhengeri Hospital where the doctors are treating him.

His life is in critical conditions.   It is not the first time  to animals get out park and destroy local community harvest and kill or injury the people. When the local administration is able to let them back in forest it us chance and when it is impossible these animals are killed too.

It is required collaboration between local community and administration to keep working together for handling this problem.  Most of the time , Buffles, Gorillas, Golden monkeys, Antelopes are the animals observed out of park.
